Cross UNC off the list of potential landing spots for super-recruit, Anthony Davis.  Adam Zagoria reports that Anthony Davis Sr., father of the 6’10” power forward from Chi-town, says that UNC “is not going to be in the recruiting process with us.”  That leaves three schools in the running Davis:

He is still considering three schools — Kentucky, Syracuse and Ohio State.

“They’re all equal,” Anthony Sr. said.

“He said he’s still going through the motions with the three schools. He’s till gonna take a couple looks. We should have a decision hopefully soon.”

Davis will likely decide in August and he has plans to visit Syracuse, as well as the other schools.  Last week, Tom Sullivan educated us about how Syracuse is in good shape to lock Davis down and if not, be in a good position to sign either Rakeem Christmas or Mikael Hopkins.

Exciting times for SU basketball.
